Stuff that makes Mama laugh, smile, weep, giggle. Love for tea, crafts, hilarity, the doctor, Harry Potter & the gang and whatever else stikes Mama's fancy!
Just started following a comic called Busty Girl Comics - nodding in agreement with every comic she posts - oh to be a busty girl, it’s nice to have a little laughter along with the problems that being busty can create, but Paige handles it all with style and panache (and some great humour) and I think everyone should read her blog. You can find it right here:
Oh J.K….. you know what - and we love YOU. As you can probably tell. :)

Please read this foolery…And my father keeps trying to tell me racism isn’t a problem.
This is why I generally stay the hell away from fandoms. How the FUCK can you call yourself a fan and NOT FUCKING KNOW THAT RUE AND THRESH ARE NOT FUCKING WHITE?! IT’S CLEARLY STATED IN THE FUCKING BOOKS THAT THEY ARE NOT WHITE!
So clearly stated. Are they illiterate?
But regardless of whether it was stated in the book or not. If the movie just decided to interpret them in that way, these comments just. They just disgust me.
Right? RIGHT!? Argh! If you haven’t read the books, FINE, but don’t go making stupid stupid comments about a characters race and your own personal judgements without taking a moment to think about WHY! And besides, even if not one character had been physically described in the books, why COULDN’T they be black?! Ugh.
Also - the girl they cast for Rue - just happens to look EXACTLY like how I pictured her. Her facial expressions… everything. It’s like they read my mind. :|
Really?
Were there really people out there who were disappointed to find that a young black girl had been cast to play Rue in Hunger Games? Apparently there’s all these people out there going “Oh, why did Rue have to be black?”
Uh…. because she’s black?
Read the damn book. Morons.
That will be all.
Reblog if your shows’ theme music has no words, but you sing along to it anyway.
